That's a mighty fine burger! Just the right size. What makes this place truly unique is the history and the people. The couple sitting next to me at the counter were as kind as they could be and had been coming here for over 40 years. That tells me something. The waitress was juggling four or five orders, throwing eggs onto the grill, and still making everyone feel like they were the only customer. The classics just never go out of style, I guess. And I highly recommend the banana shake!

The burgers, fries, and slaw were good. It reminds me of an old time burger stand. It is dated, but in a cool way. Customer service was good but not very friendly.

Great burger and onion rings! Stopped by this cool little burger joint in downtown Louisville on our drive back up to Ohio from down south.

I normally don't go to a place more than once but I can definitely see myself stopping here again when I'm in town. I wanted to try out one of Louisville's most legendary burger joints and I can say that it didn't disappoint. The woman taking our order was amazing, very helpful. The other employees were also helpful, constantly checking in on us to see if we enjoyed the food.We tried the bacon cheeseburger, cheeseburger, the famous Whizzburger, fries, butterscotch shake, and a banana split. Everything was perfect. Cheap prices too

Small little local places like this are becoming exstinct. Dizzy Whiz has been around for quite some time, and I know why... Consistent quality and quantity. You can park and curb order, eat inside or order to go. You can even call in your order for pick up. You can watch most of your order being prepared, which I liked very much. Portions are adequate for the price. (except that side of gravy) Give this small diner a try if your downtown!
